How To Extend Service Life of Carbide Reversible Knives

The carbide reversible knives are fixed to the top of the tool bar with screws. When it is worn, it can be replaced with a new blade for continued use. However, the traditional turning tool needs to be sharpened by a grinder before it can be used again. So the question is, can the carbide reversible knives only be used once?

There are four types of commonly used Carbide Reversible Knives: round, diamond, square, and square-round. For round blades and diamond blades, you can use a replacement method to use one blade twice; for square blades and square-round blades, you can replace them according to the digital serial numbers on the four corners of the blade, so that one blade can be used four times.
